2024 Fransgard Chain Mower FKR-125HY

FKR-125HY is a hydraulically driven chain mower for mounting on a cutter bar, excavator, forestry machine or similar. The chain mower is mounted with 2 or 4 steel chains (quality G100), which are very durable without being too hard, so they won't crack if they hit a stone or other hard material.

The FKR-125HY is very flexible and can work in many difficult positions and angles. With 1500 rpm, it is a suitable machine for clearing roadsides and scrub.

The heavy-duty wear shoes are made of Hardox 500, and the main frame is built of high-strength steel Domex 420. It is protected with a heavy-duty safety cover to minimise material spillage during operation. FKR-HY is available in 125 cm working width, but can be made to order in 150 cm working width.

The machine has a 64cc oil engine with a valve block for freewheel as standard and return hose to the tank. The FKR-125HY with its low dead weight of 340 kg can be used on smaller crane arms, but is so robustly built that it can also be used on excavators and similar machines. If you want a larger working width and have an arm with a large lifting capacity, you can use the FKR-150HY.

This mulcher model offers many possibilities and only the movement of the arm limits where the work can be done.

The machine can rotate in the suspension and is fitted with a transport lock.

The hydraulic motor is fitted with a stud for mounting the drain. The motor is mounted in a very strong flange housing.

The shield on the machine is built in 5mm Domex 420 steel plate with reinforcement of profile tubes on top.

The FKR-125HY is fitted with Hardox-500 wear shoes as standard.

Durable rubber cover mounted on the back, which helps to hold the material.

The powerful horns on each side of the front guide the material into the machine. The horn is prepared for mounting a chain fall.

The hydraulic motor is fitted with a non-return valve as standard, which ensures freewheel even with closed circuits on the supply machine. Fitted with port flanges, supplied without hoses.
