2024 Fransgard Wood Chippers PC-2700-PEC

In 2023, Fransgård has taken over the production of wood chippers from PC Stål ApS. PC Stål has been developing and manufacturing wood chippers since 1978. The goal has always been to create both small and large wood chippers that could meet various market demands.

As the only one in the market, PC Stål has developed a pellet wood chipper with an advanced feeding system, making it possible to produce uniform, lump-free chips of such high quality that they can be used directly in stoker and pellet burners without the need for chip sorting. The chips from this wood chipper must meet strict quality standards and are branded as "PC-FLIS," which is also trademark protected.

All rights, production drawings, inventory, and a necessary part of the production equipment are currently being relocated. The production of wood chippers is moving from Thorsø between Silkeborg and Randers to Fransgård Maskinfabrik's production facilities in Fredbjerg near Farsø in Vesthimmerland.

The wood chippers will now be sold under the Fransgård name and will adopt the well-known red and black colors. The first official presentation will take place in November this year at the Agritechnika international trade fair in Hannover, Germany
