2024 Fransgard Grapple Tong FHZ-2300

The FHZ grapple tongs from Fransgård have a strong grapple for gripping and moving logs out of a forest area. Our grapple tongs are very useful, especially when the logs are lying shoulder to shoulder after a storm. The machine is designed for efficient moving of whole or cut logs of different lengths.

The suspension of the grapple tongs is fixed. The front-mounted grapple tongs can be mounted on many types of forestry machines using different types of mounts. Fransgård's FHZ grapple tongs are very robust and stable and can be used anywhere in the world where there is a need to remove tree trunks.

The sturdy base construction combined with brass bushings in all joints make the grapple tongs very durable and robust, so they can handle most tasks in the forest. The FHZ-2300 has an opening width of 2.3 m. It can also grip and hold logs as small as 15 cm in diameter.

The machine can rotate in the suspension and is fitted with a transport lock.

Powerful double-acting cylinder ensures that the logs are held firmly.

The specially designed tongs close past each other, providing a very stable tool.

The FHZ grapple has a fixed suspension, which is welded to the mounting plate, on which the desired fastener is mounted with 3 bolts. The 4 reinforcing Z-triangles provide a very solid and stable tool.

The solid parallel bar is safely positioned behind the large closing cylinder and is thus highly protected against external shocks and impacts. The parallel bar ensures that the grapples close simultaneously.

Fittings with sawteeth under the cross boom, ensure that the logs are held in the grapples during extension.

The 2 support legs are easily placed in the bracket and are always at hand when parking the tool.
